Yang Yang / 0363575 2025/9/26 week 1 -  Digital Matte Painting  / Bacherlor of Design in Creative Media TASK 1 TASK 2 When I first attempted photo bashing, I merely cut and distorted images to fill my composition, making little beyond basic lighting adjustments. I even altered the shape of the house in the concept art because I couldn't find a suitable cottage. Following Mr Kannan's guidance and suggestions, I adjusted the lighting and shadows in the image and refined the building's form to more closely match my original vision. I also enhanced the consistency and logical coherence of the texture mapping. Yet this alone proved insufficient. Through the gentleman's guidance, I realised I had consistently misplaced the relative importance of texture mapping and painting within photo bashing. Consequently, under Mr Kannan's direction, I rendered the scene's contrast relationships and blocky forms with greater clarity, while adding subtle colour accents...
