Task 3 :
Hand-drawn drafts:
During this process I used different pens to try and create different fonts depending on the font chosen, it was a great exercise to build on the characteristics of the original font.

Manufacturing process:
I used different shapes to put the pieces together and I kept tweaking the visual effect of the pieces, mostly using circles or rectangles, which resulted in a more rounded graphic. Also the auxiliary lines helped me a lot to keep the text graphics neat and tidy.

FontLab
After completing the font design on Illustrator, I started developing and exporting fonts using FontLab. The first step was to merge the paths of the designed fonts for later import into FontLab.
However, after pasting the letters and separating each glyph according to the instructions, I found that due to my design, some of the letters were placed very awkwardly next to each other (such as the word ‘e’ below and some of the symbols spaced apart), which I didn't notice when I designed the font. But the good thing is that it's not too late to adjust the changes.

Reflection:
While making this work, I found that designing fonts is much harder than I thought at the beginning, because the seemingly simple curvature and thickness of the strokes are actually something, they are not made by the maker with a single stroke, they contain much more things and rules than I imagined, and it's a very interesting and rare experience to be able to try out this practice for myself to make a font of my own. It was a very interesting and rare experience to be able to try this practice and make a font of my own. I also benefited a lot from not only learning the concepts from the video, but also from applying them in a practical way.
Feedback:
Through the communication with my teacher and his suggestions for modifying my work, I paid more attention to some basic but easily forgotten rules when designing fonts. When I designed the fonts in strict accordance with the references of the highest and lowest lines, it was obvious that the fonts had a more regular and better appearance, which made me remember this rule firmly.
Week 12:
Specific Feedback : Ms. Vitiyaa's Suggested some changes based on my previously designed fonts to make them more uniform and aesthetically pleasing.
General feedback: In this lesson we improved the design and overall aesthetics of the fonts to make the design more uniform and made it into a poster.
Week 11:
Specific Feedback : Ms. Vitiyaa's session helped me to further enhance the typefaces that I have designed before and to understand the design concepts of typefaces better.
General feedback: In this class we continued with our previous typography and had an initial exposure to and learning how to use FontLab 7, which I found amazing.
Week 10:
Specific Feedback : Ms. Vitiyaa helped me in this session to make my blog more presentable, she guided me on some of the typographical errors and enabled me to correct them.
General feedback: In this lesson I reorganised the layout of the blog and continued to work on the fonts, in the process gaining a deeper understanding of the correct layout of flow.
Week 9:
Specific Feedback : Need to dig a little deeper into the original design.
General feedback: This week we learnt how to make our own fonts in illustrator, applying the skills we have learnt to create more interesting and design friendly fonts, as well as learning more about how to use the software.

Letters of the design of the upper line and lower line is very important, in order to make the design of the font neat and good-looking, a unified standard is very important, no matter how the internal changes, as long as in the unified range will not appear high and short or very confusing, of course, the width of the letters is also the same reason, just generally take the lead in paying attention to the height of the line.
Figure 6.2 Regular
Spacing between letters is actually a small detail that can greatly improve the perception, many people will ignore this small detail, but in fact this is a very good way to make the article become neat and compact, or remove some times because of the capital letters or some special letters of the width of the letters to be greater than the letters behind, which will lead to the formation of some unattractive gap in the middle of the time, this time the This time the designer needs to manually adjust the range of the gap to make it look less abrupt.
