Lecture: Poster Design
In this class, the teacher mainly explained the 7 principles of poster design, in which I am most interested in, and I think the most common is the technique of CONTRAST, strong contrast can highlight the main message of the poster, but also to attract the attention of the viewer, whether it's a dark and single-coloured background and a fancy and lightweight body, but also to attract the attention of the viewer, and to attract the attention of the viewer. Whether it's a dark, single colour background and a fancy, light subject, or an opposite design, it can create a certain impact!
Balance and alignment is also a very common design technique for posters, people tend to feel comfortable with things that are balanced, and at a glance it's a ‘gentle’ enough poster that most of them won't be prone to mistakes, and it's also one of the more ‘safe’ designs in my opinion. It's also a ‘safe’ way of designing, which doesn't hinder the beautiful artistry and practicality of the design itself.
Tutorial & Practical :
T1: Old man
Proceses:
Use a brush with colour to paint the area that needs to be changed, then change the blending mode of the layer, you can try different ones to choose the one that suits best.
T2: Three Photos
This practical assignment gave me an initial grasp of how to change an image that was originally black and white to give it colour, and also made me more familiar with the brush tool and the different blending modes of layers. I believe this is a very important skill in post-production, and I look forward to how it will be used differently in the future.
